INTRODUCTION TO KIDS CLUB
Kids Club is an experimental school of TDI. It was established in 2010 with an objective of providing developmental education to children of all types irrespective of their school performance and abilities. This education is independent of school subjects but develops the capacity of the children to do well in school as well as in the life after school.
Kids Club adopts the philosophy of development of childhood by providing them:
  • The capacity of improved interpersonal communication
  • The scope of reading and writing to improve school activities
  • Ability of enhanced psycho-social qualities
  • The opportunity of to be creative and intelligent
  • Training in craftsmanship, art and culture and finally
  • Appropriate empowering tools like, moral courage, patience, endurance and a sense of
fare competition to prosper in the society.
Kids Club offers an innovative model of developmental education that includes all types of children including children with special needs to make it more inclusive and humanistic. The objective of this school is to generate healthy and prospective citizens of the nation. This initiative would not only create an environment of development, it would contribute to building up positive attitude of children towards various individual needs. Integration of child development programme and school education is complementary and mutually supportive to each other therefore, it is adopted in Kids Club.

Kids Club serves children with gifted nature, average intellectual ability and children with mild to moderate disabilities. Gifted children, who are academically bright but socio-emotionally neglected, receive individualized support for their potential development. Children with average intellectual ability get qualitative support from Kids Club in academic and non-academic matters. Children with various types of disabilities like, intellectually challenged, learning disability, children with autism, Down syndrome, emotionally disturbed, children with hearing and speech disorder all can receive education and training from Kids Club.
Why parents should send children to Kids Club?
Kids Club runs under the direct guidance of Prof. Nazmul Haq of IER, Dhaka University who is a nationally reputed child development expert as well as counselor. Kids Club help children develop their basic qualities like, reading, comprehension, writing, speaking etc. along with any kind of behavioral disorders. Children get their education through individualized teaching support (one to one basis) as well as regular conventional class. Teaching method in Kids Club is very much innovative and effective for any child. Once you bring a child to Kids Club he/she would be our baby and you don't have to worry anymore.
How children are dealt with in Kids Club?
Depending on the ability of the child he/she is assigned to an individual teacher or a facilitator for training and educational support. After observation for a week teacher develops an individualized curriculum for the child in collaboration with experts and implements the curriculum. Children are free to choose their own activity in Kids Club and teacher’s role is to streamline that activity towards the targeted behavior. Besides textbooks learning materials are prepared by teacher based on individual needs. We believe in holistic development rather than any specific task or memorization of facts.
Services provided by Kids Club
Children of any age and ability are accepted for education. Kids Club is an institute for children not only for education but for their behavior modification, academic and non-academic skills development. Here, children learn to develop their reading, writing and numeric skills which helps them succeed in future education and quality citizenship.

Other than children’s education Kids club provides consultation to parents and teachers. Render training to parents and counseling for the development of children.
